Iqaluit, which means "place of many fish", is located on the southern coast of Baffin Island and is Nunavut's largest city and territorial capital. The city offers visitors and residents great opportunities for outdoor adventures, and also recreation programs, exciting events, and a vibrant local business sector. Iqaluit reflects the strengths of the traditional Inuit and northern culture, and enhances them with modern ways. (~City of Iqaluit)
