Programs and Services: Reading Circles

Reading circles are organized around particular themes or literacy objectives. Whether individual community library initiatives or part of Nunavut and Canada-wide programs, reading circles are opportunities to develop an appreciation for good books and good stories.

TD Summer Reading Program 2009

The TD Summer Reading Program has been offered in Nunavut since it started in 2005. The theme for the 2009 TD Summer Reading Program will be “Agent 009”. The program is sponsored by the TD Financial Group and developed by the staff at the Toronto Public Library, with assistance from staff at Ottawa Public Library and Library & Archives Canada.
